Asset Overview

In VBox8, a video asset is the core working unit of the platform.

Assets are created either by cutting a segment from a linear stream or by uploading an external file such as MP4, MOV, AVI, or MXF.

Once created, assets exist independently from the original stream. All editing, enrichment, and publishing operations are performed on assets.
